Developing beam-monitoring instruments for ultra-fast radiotherapy
FLASH radiotherapy delivers radiation at ultra-high dose rates and requires real-time beam monitoring for dose control. Many standard radiotherapy detectors saturate at these rates, making them unsuitable for measuring the beam reliably.
RTBeamTech is developing FLASHGuard to monitor radiation beams for FLASH radiotherapy. Its detector technology combines particle detection and fast electronics to support precise beam measurements as researchers work towards clinical use.
