Key Investor Signals
Clinical pilots and validation with three hospitals in Spain and Italy
OneCareAI reports a clinical-validation proof of concept at Hospital de Sant Pau, plus a clinical and scalability pilot at Bellvitge and an international pilot at Niguarda Hospital in Milan.
AI technology spun out of Barcelona Supercomputing Center research
GALEN originated in the Innostroke project at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. CTO Daniele Lezzi developed the technology before it was transferred into OneCareAI at spin-off.
3,000+ registrations for government-backed wearable study
OneCareAI developed the SOLARIS study app with the Government of Catalonia, VHIR and IEEC. More than 3,000 people registered to record smartwatch data during the August 2026 solar eclipse.

Product
OneCareAI's INVICTUS platform estimates stroke risk from ECG recordings using its GALEN AI model. It can run on conventional ECG machines and commercial wearables, while a companion app collects lifestyle data to help personalize the risk estimate.
Risk estimate from a single ECG
GALEN analyzes one ECG recording and returns a personalized stroke-risk estimate. The approach is designed to extract predictive signal from patterns in the trace without requiring a new test or dedicated device.
Combines ECG with patient data
INVICTUS can combine ECG patterns with genetic, molecular, clinical and lifestyle data from the companion app, allowing the risk estimate to be personalized around each patient rather than the trace alone.
Works with existing ECG hardware
INVICTUS is designed to run on conventional ECG devices and commercial wearables already in use. Hospitals can add the software without replacing their existing monitoring hardware or introducing a proprietary device.
Market Overview
About 94 million people live with the effects of stroke worldwide, and treatment and support cost more than $890B a year. Around 12 million new strokes occur annually, while Spain records roughly 120,000 cases each year. The scale of disease creates a large population in which earlier risk identification could matter.
The commercial context spans established cardiac monitoring and rapidly growing AI-enabled remote monitoring. The global arrhythmia-monitoring market was valued at $7.34B in 2023 and is projected to reach $12.03B by 2030, while AI in remote patient monitoring is projected to grow from $1.99B in 2024 to $8.51B by 2030.
An estimated 11.9 million first and repeat strokes occurred in 2021, about 70% more than in 1990.
In 2021, 84% of global stroke burden was linked to 23 modifiable risk factors, led by high blood pressure.
The market was valued at $7.34B in 2023 and is projected to reach $12.03B by 2030, a 7.4% annual growth rate.
The market is projected to grow from $1.99B in 2024 to $8.51B by 2030, representing 27.98% annual growth.
Comparable Outcomes
Preventice Solutions
Preventice Solutions built wearable cardiac monitors and a cloud service using BeatLogic deep-learning algorithms to classify heart-rhythm changes. Practices used the service to diagnose and manage patients outside hospital. Boston Scientific completed the acquisition of Preventice Solutions in March 2021 for an upfront cash payment of $925M.
Bardy Diagnostics
Bardy Diagnostics developed the Carnation Ambulatory Monitor, a wearable ECG patch for multi-day cardiac monitoring. The company also operated diagnostic testing facilities and sold interpretation services alongside the device. Hillrom completed the acquisition of Bardy Diagnostics on 6 August 2021 for $375M in cash.
