Developing a home dialysis machine and app for remote care
Home peritoneal dialysis requires repeated exchanges of dialysis fluid, regular supply deliveries and space to store bags and equipment. Patients must learn safe treatment routines and undergo ongoing tests so their care team can adjust the dialysis prescription.
Nordial is developing a home peritoneal dialysis machine designed to make dialysis fluid from drinking water, reducing supply logistics. Its Kidney Connect app is designed to control the machine, track sessions and support remote follow-up by care teams.
