Measuring muscle activity with wireless sensors to guide rehabilitation
Muscle activation deficits can persist even when movement appears normal during rehabilitation. Patients may struggle to feel a contraction or recognise progress. Without objective measurements, clinicians can find it difficult to identify these deficits and compare progress across sessions.
Myodev combines wireless muscle sensors with an app displaying muscle activity in real time. Physiotherapists can identify activation imbalances, compare sessions and use visual feedback to help patients understand and practise muscle contractions.
