Turning movement and visual exercises into immersive rehabilitation games
Neurodevelopmental conditions can make everyday activities more demanding. Children with dyslexia can also have difficulties with visual perception and motor coordination. Rehabilitation can be a long and difficult process for people managing these challenges.
MoveR provides therapist-controlled games combining movement and visual exercises projected onto a wall or screen, without a VR headset. Practitioners adjust the exercises for neurodevelopmental and balance rehabilitation, including use with children from age five.
What stands out about MoveR
Improved visual-perception scores at six months in 24 children with dyslexia after MoveR training, in a comparative study with 15 children receiving conventional visual training.
Commercialised around 100 units in France for immersive, movement-based rehabilitation.
Partners with CNRS laboratory ICAR on 2026 research into immersive rehabilitation for children with autism and ADHD.
Brings prior company-building experience through Emmanuel Icart and Julien Baessens, who cofounded virtual-reality business Scale-1 Portal in 2014.
