Monitoring seizure-associated movements at home without wearables
Seizures can go unnoticed at night, when supervision is limited. Families affected by epilepsy face anxiety and interrupted sleep, including fear of missing a seizure. Missed events also leave less information for discussions with clinicians between appointments.
Lampsy Health offers a lamp-shaped home monitor that alerts caregivers to movements associated with tonic-clonic seizures. It needs no wearable and lets families review event recordings in an app, complementing rather than replacing medical care.
