Developing adhesive-free urine collection devices for men with incontinence
Adhesive urine-collection devices can cause skin irritation, painful removal and leaks in men with urinary incontinence. These problems can reduce independence and confidence, making everyday care uncomfortable and contributing to withdrawal from social and intimate life.
HyriaMed is developing PEASY, a urine-collection device for men that uses mechanical attachment instead of skin adhesive. Designed for daily incontinence management, it aims to improve comfort and independence while avoiding adhesive contact with the skin.
