Product
HealthNest’s current product is a free iOS and Android app for structured home blood-pressure monitoring. It combines guided logging, trend review, medication reminders, clinician-written education and exportable reports. HealthNest also plans a connected blood-pressure and ECG device and a clinician-facing offering.
Structured home blood-pressure tracking
Users can record multiple readings, add timing and custom tags, review daily and weekly trends, and use seven-day averages to make home monitoring more consistent.
Medication and education support
The app combines custom medication reminders with clinician-written education and plain-language guidance on blood-pressure readings, targets and home monitoring.
Shareable reports for clinicians
Users can export blood-pressure readings and medication details into a shareable summary, bringing structured home data into GP or clinician appointments.
Market Overview
High blood pressure is often symptomless but is the UK’s most important modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Government analysis links it to around half of heart attacks and strokes, making earlier detection and sustained control a major prevention priority rather than a niche monitoring use case.
The NHS is expanding blood-pressure case finding through community pharmacies and using home readings in follow-up care. This gives HealthNest a clear role between clinic visits: helping people collect structured readings that can support diagnosis and ongoing management. Between March 2024 and March 2025, 922,436 people in England were newly diagnosed.

Luscii
Luscii built a remote-care platform connecting home measurements with care teams across more than 150 conditions, including high blood pressure. OMRON devices were already integrated into its care programmes. OMRON Healthcare acquired Luscii in April 2024 to expand remote patient monitoring across Europe.
BioTelemetry
BioTelemetry provided remote cardiac diagnostics and monitoring outside hospitals through wearable monitors, software and services, reaching more than one million cardiac patients annually before acquisition. Philips acquired BioTelemetry in February 2021 for an implied enterprise value of $2.8 billion, adding the business to its Connected Care portfolio.
