Developing ultrasound AI to help clinicians identify endometriosis
Endometriosis can cause severe menstrual pain, chronic pelvic pain and infertility. Diagnosis commonly takes years because symptoms vary widely and can be difficult to recognise. Access to early diagnosis and effective treatment remains limited in many settings.
Femnov is developing AI software to highlight suspected bowel endometriosis lesions in transvaginal ultrasound videos. It is designed to guide image capture and generate structured reports, helping clinicians assess examinations more consistently.
What stands out about Femnov
Partnered with Prof. Gil Dubernard's team at Hospices Civils de Lyon to train AI on bowel endometriosis ultrasound images.
