Developing brain-recording analysis software to guide epilepsy surgery planning
Epilepsy teams must interpret large brain-recording datasets to identify where seizures begin and decide whether surgery can help. When many implanted electrodes record at once, important activity patterns can be difficult to distinguish through visual review alone.
BrainFocus develops clinical software to help epilepsy teams identify and understand seizure origins in patients whose seizures resist medication. It organizes recordings and quantitative maps for specialists to review during presurgical assessment.
