Developing blood tests to detect breast, lung and colorectal cancer early
Cancer can invade nearby tissues and spread to other organs; widespread metastases are its primary cause of death. Many cancers can be cured when detected early and treated effectively, making timely detection important for diseases including breast, lung and colorectal cancer.
Amber Health Solutions is developing SCANHEALTH, a blood test for early detection of breast, lung and colorectal cancer. It combines infrared spectroscopy with machine learning to distinguish healthy and cancer-associated molecular patterns for future screening.
