Developing engineered T-cell therapies for treatment-resistant solid tumours
CAR T-cell therapies have advanced treatment for blood cancers, but progress in solid tumours has lagged. Solid tumours can suppress immune cells and prevent them from reaching the cancer. Differences between tumour cells also make it difficult to find targets that enable effective treatment without harming healthy tissue.
Alceus Bio is developing engineered T-cell therapies for solid tumours that resist treatment. Its CAR-T platform is designed to attack cancer through multiple coordinated mechanisms, aiming to overcome resistance and improve treatment effectiveness.
