Developing digital cell models for drug discovery and miniaturised lab testing
Patients with the same diagnosis can have different biological mechanisms driving their disease. This complexity makes it difficult to identify suitable treatments: a therapeutic vulnerability shared by some patients may not be relevant to others with the same diagnosis.
AjaxDNA develops biological modelling software to map disease mechanisms and prioritise drug candidates for individual patients. It is also developing Lab On A Cell, a miniaturised experimental platform intended to support parallel testing of therapeutic candidates.
What stands out about AjaxDNA
Applied patient-specific modelling to an existing dataset of 10 colorectal cancer patients and 16 controls.
